SalaryCareBridge is seeking dedicated and compassionate Assistant in Nursing (AIN) candidates to join our team in providing temporary shift coverage for our clients in the Perth Southeast area (near Gosnells.
As an AIN with CareBridge, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of aged care providers and make a positive impact on the lives of the elderly.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with their daily living activities, lifestyle activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Provide support in medication administration.
- Report changes in residents' health, well-being, or behaviour to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring that dietary requirements are met.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting a person-centred approach to care.
- Participate in recreational and social activities with residents.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided.
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent.
- More than 12 months work experience in aged care.(Preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A strong commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Medication competency preferred
- A valid National Police Check.
- Full working rights in Australia.
