Willowood Centre, a warm and welcoming 90-bed residential aged care facility located in Chatswood, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant in Nursing to join our team. In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital part in supporting our residents with their daily living needs and promoting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a sense of dignity and respect.
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to registered nurses.
- Assist with mealtimes, ensuring residents receive proper nutrition and hydration.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Participate in resident care planning meetings and follow individualized care plans.
- Document care provided in residents' charts accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in activities and social programs, fostering a sense of community
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, building rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
We are looking for someone who possesses:
- A genuine desire to work with seniors and improve their quality of life.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and families.
- Patience, empathy, and a compassionate nature.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
- Reliability and a commitment to high standards of care.
- Hold a current AIN qualification (Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or working towards).
- Full Working Rights in Australia
- Current Police Check
- Flu Vaccine, COVID Vaccination (desirable)
- Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
