The main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Leadership of all team members & functionality within the room division and management of operations in the absence of Heads Of Departments
- Ensure guest feedback is recorded accurately and action any service recovery process in a prompt and efficient manner
- Assist reservations team in ensuring hotel bookings are accurately recorded and executed
- Supporting guest service agents with questions posed by guests and taking over from the support staff if any issues arise.
- Understanding what guest expectations are and anticipating problems in order to prevent complaints.
- Helping with guest and group accounts settlement
- Actively contribute towards reaching agreed hotel targets and objectives
