Job Overview:Seeking an Assistant Manager to ensure exceptional service delivery and operational excellence at our café. Under the direction of the Cafe Manager, you'll oversee day-to-day operations, manage staff, and maintain high standards in customer service, inventory management, and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited:
- Assist Cafe Manager in daily operations
- Manage Front of House and Back of House activities
- Ensure inventory systems are up to date
- Provide excellent customer service
- Open/close store and supervise daily tasks
- Handle cash transactions and reconcile sales
- Allocate staff efficiently and ensure cross-training
- Uphold Occupational Health & Safety standards
- Provide on-the-job training and attend training sessions
- Promote environmental sustainability practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers in informative and enjoyable conversations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and maintain composure under pressure.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to accommodate the needs of our customers.
- High standards of professionalism, hygiene, and attention to detail.
