About the Role:
- Part-time, 30 hours per week, Must be available all mornings and afternoons.
- Oversee the daily implementation of educational and care programs for children, ensuring activities are engaging and aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Assist in staff training, mentoring, and performance evaluations to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
- Build strong relationships with parents, caregivers, and the community to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as rostering, resource management, and reporting to support efficient operations.
- Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere where children can thrive
About the Service:
- Dedicated space within school grounds
- Utilises Xplor currently for CCMS.
- Has a positive school community who value and understand OSHC and how vital and important the service is.
- Went through Assessment & Rating in 2022, overall rating of Meeting the NQS.
- Approved Provider is a volunteer Parent Committee whose main priority is quality for the children, and they recognise and value the educators at the service. This is an independent, NFP, stand alone service.
- Proven track record in leading a team of educators.
- Skilled in fostering collaboration and maintaining positive relationships with staff, families and children.
- Strong ability to manage schedules, resources, and administrative tasks effectively in educational environments.
- Sound knowledge of the NQF, NQS and assist with ensuring the centre is compliant.
- Dedicated to staff training and professional growth to enhance team performance in childcare settings.
Looking for an individual that will understand, adhere to, and promote The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations (the Child Safe Standards). In your position, you will help to take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.
Child safeguarding methods for this position, include, but are not limited to:
- A NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain.
- Thorough screening.
- Reference checks.
- A national criminal history check.
