Your Team:
The Protective Security and Business Resilience Team is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all Group staff, customers and assets, and comprises of the Security Operations Centre (SOC), Security Risk & Advisory, International & Executive Security and the security strategy, governance and assurance functions.
The Security Operations Team conducts real-time monitoring of a national network of security alarms, sensors and CCTV 24/7 across CBA and Bankwest. The team identifies, assesses, escalates and responds to all forms of security incidents as well as provide support to a multitude of Teams across the Group to ensure we keep our People safe and Assets secure.
The team also supports the global Group Emergency Hotline and assists with the end to end management of significant incidents. Your role is critical to the safe and efficient operation of CBA’s financial services across Australia.
Your responsibilities will include:
Team Operations:
Assist with rostering
User system access
Invoicing and quote reviews
Escalations to vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met
Assist Senior Manager with vendor management
Risk & Control:
Basic KRI Reporting
Quality Assurance checks
Assist Senior Manager with SOP and Guide reviews
Change Management & Project Support:
Assist Senior Manager with the delivery of new Technology and changes coming down to the team
Understand new technology being introduced to the team as it is presented and determine possible impacts to the Team
Provide SME advice to Project Teams on behalf of the business to ensure business requirements are met.
Complete Testing on behalf of the business including BVT, UVT and the creation of said test cases
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
Experience in working independently and within a team to manage multiple and varied tasks, with an ability to prioritise based on stakeholder needs and risk
Ability to build relationships with key internal stakeholders
Proven track record of working with suppliers outside of your organisation to drive results
An understanding of protective security issues within the banking and finance industry is preferred but not essential
Evidence of good trouble shooting skills with the ability to pick up new systems/applications.
Ability to provide SME advice to the Team and wider Project Teams on the way we work to ensure new solutions meet our needs/manage risk in our space.
