We are recruiting a temporary, full-time Senior Analyst. The position would suit applicants who have a technology support background. The successful candidate will be primarily working out of Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, however, some travel will be required to other laboratory sites across Sydney Local Health District and South Western Sydney Local Health District. We operate more than 60 laboratories and around 200 collection centres across NSW and conduct over 60 million tests per annum. Our network of pathologists are supported by scientists, technicians and support staff who quickly and accurately assess samples so clinical teams can make the best possible treatment decisions for patients. What you'll be doing
  • Ensure that the technology infrastructure, including desktop hardware, that supports our Laboratory Information System (LIS) and LIS-related applications is implemented, maintained and developed, to meet business needs and enable more appropriate and effective use of diagnostic services. This includes configuration management, problem management, change management and project support.
  • Provide a timely response to the resolution of technology incidents and problems.
  • Maintain and improve IT links with customers, enabling improved service delivery.

Apply now by addressing the following questions: * Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in providing effective information technology solutions including installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of IT systems and related infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience in the installation and provision of cloud based and/or on premise systems, associated systems administration, hardware and software configuration and storage backups in accordance with NSWHP standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Proven experience in installing and managing remote desktops, including user account setups and security via Active Directory.
  • Demonstrated experience in the effective provision of user support, troubleshooting and all associated facets within a busy and complex IT environment.
  • Well-developed written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to liaise and consult with a variety of stakeholders and effectively communicating and tailoring potentially complex IT information to be understood by the end user.
  • Proven organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise, multi task, take initiative and meet strict timeframes within a challenging work environment.
  • Current unencumbered NSW Class C Drivers Licence and willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the role.
  • Demonstrated capacity to adopt and model the NSWHP RITE values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence.
