Located in the heart of Bermagui on the NSW South Coast, nestled between Wallaga Lake and the ocean, BIG4 Wallaga Lake Holiday Park is a family friendly park offering a range of different accommodation options to suit every family budget.
We are currently seeking an experienced assistant accommodation manager and hospitality professional to join our dedicated park team in a full-time capacity.
Responsibilities of our Assistant Park Management (include but not limited to);
- Oversee and assist with organisation of all departments within the business, including reception, grounds & maintenance, housekeeping, etc.
- Manage after hours arrivals, concerns, night patrols, emergencies etc on Park Management days off.
- Maximise revenue opportunities.
- Social Media / Marketing
- Financial Management & Reporting
- Reporting responsibilities
- Seasonal Activities for guest enjoyment
- Prepared to undertake outdoor duties during busy periods.
Essential Skills / Qualities:
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role managing a similar style asset
- Proven and demonstrated experience in managing staff.
- Strong computer skills, especially in the MS Office Suite
- Previous experience with RMS or similar reservations systems
- Strong administrative and financial control experience
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Knowledge and understanding of WHS and responsibilities.
- Leads By Example / Hands on
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to go above and beyond to meet company objectives as well as ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Must hold a current national police check and working with children check.
- Experience in the use of outdoor equipment associated & used in the business.
Onsite accommodation will be provided for the right candidate.
