World class boat builder Haines Hunter is based in the Western region of Melbourne. Haines Hunter is seeking an Assistant Plant Manufacturing Manager to join our exceptional team.

As Assistant Plant Manufacturing Manager you will be responsible for assisting in developing, maintaining the production plan,managing the production process, as well as driving performance, efficiency throughout the entire manufacturing operation.
You will lead a team of dedicated production operators, improving engagement and productivity.
Key Position Requirements:
- Able to manage a production team and monitor the production process
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing management skills is an advantage
- Drive the development and implementation of continuous improvement
- Ability to liase between production and sales
- Ability to plan production and maintain
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills, including the ability to motivate others
- Demonstrate experience implementing OH & S programs and thorough knowledge of Worksafe requirements
- Must have a proven track record in a similar role
- Strong communication skills is essential
- Review worker performance and identify training needs
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with team and clients
