The Role
This full-time position will be based at Cobram Estate's head office in Lara.
Working in a clean and temperature-controlled environment, you will work alongside a team of hard-working individuals ensuring the quality of our product is perfect!
Reporting to the Maintenance and Efficiency Engineer your responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following activities:
- Conduct preventative and scheduled maintenance on our bottling and canning line.
- Monitor efficiencies and adjust the line to ensure it is running at peak performance.
- Assist in all aspects of the bottling line and can line process including ‘set up’ for each individual job and dismantling at the end of each product run.
- Have a positive approach and attitude to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) and Food Safety. Ensure full compliance to Company policies and procedures – and at all times work towards the maintenance of a safe workplace.
Skills & Experience
The role will ideally suit someone who has previous production, mechanical or food manufacturing experience.
The successful candidates will be reliable and hardworking, coupled with the following experience and attributes:
- Previous experience working on a production line or similar environment.
- Trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
- A strong commitment to workplace health & safety.
- A strong and demonstrated work ethic.
- Mechanically minded with hands on experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Flexible working hours and occasional additional hours may be required.
- Willing to undertake a National Police Check & Medical including Drug & Alcohol testing prior to commencement.
