AddressA sought-after entry level warehouse/production role at KORB, a well-established market leader that manufactures and delivers safety products nationally to the commercial and civil construction industry. We will give the successful candidate a unique and broad range of exposure throughout the commercial and civil building industry. We will train and develop this person through our business to be the best they can be.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, someone who can happily work autonomously and find their own tasks to complete and is able to use basic tools in the warehouse. You will be trained in warehousing, light fabrication and the use of the companies computerised ERP system.
Candidates with previous experience in hand power tool repair/ maintenance (Eg. Drills, saws) encouraged to apply.
You will need to be reliable, enthusiastic, hard working with good attention to detail and be available full time.
Daily duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversee pick, pack and dispatch of customer orders to ensure deadlines are met and orders all go out accurately.
- Face to face customer service and order processing at the Warehouse Service Counter.
- Booking in freight via online portals and over the phone.
- Receiving in stock from local suppliers or branch transfers.
- Loading and unloading of freight trucks and shipping containers.
- Site inspections and measure ups.
- Supporting our site installation crews, facilitating stock and equipment to site.
- Tool maintenance & servicing.
- Consumable & PPE replenishment.
- Light assemble and manufacturing work in preparation for custom orders.
- Working with power tools i.e. drill-press, drop-saw, grinder etc.
- Stock control and stock take management.
- Forklift driving and manual handling
- General housekeeping providing tidy and efficient warehouse environment for customers and staff.
Essential Requirements:
- Driver's license & own vehicle
- Forklift license or willingness to get one
- Positive and hard-working "CAN DO" attitude
- Takes the initiative when tasks need to be completed
- Can work autonomously
- Computer savvy
- Be fit, as some heavy lifting may be required
