Assistant Programs Officer - People & Culture

DCS Clerk Grade 5/6 - base salary starting at $93,295 - $ 102,941 p.a + Super
Parramatta or Gosford location - flexible working conditions available across NSW

About the Opportunity
You will be an expert at providing great customer experiences. Your focus on continuous improvement will be pivotal in supporting governance, reporting, risk management and decision-making processes. You will work with the Programs team to enhance processes, optimise outcomes and drive excellence across the organisation. The successful candidate will be a natural people person, able to comfortably deal with a diverse range of customers.

A typical day of work for you might include:

  • Provide a range of HR administrative services including human resource information system (HRIS) administration, data management and reporting
  • Respond promptly to customers with accurate information on a wide range of HR related enquiries
  • Upholding strict confidentiality standards in handling sensitive information
    Identifying continuous improvement opportunities, enhancing our service delivery to improve customer satisfaction by assessing and updating methods, procedures and processes
  • Actively participate in projects across the team
  • Contribute to the development of and compile supporting material for program implementation
  • Undertake and support a range of project-related and operational activities, including governance, reporting and risk management

    To be successful in this role you will possess a great blend of skills and experience, including:
  • A customer centric and people centric mindset
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Great organisational & time management skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office suite. Experience in using HRIS / Payroll systems such as SAP HR would be advantageous.
  • Enthusiasm, resilience, and energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ethics and values that align to our customer service driven culture
  • Ability to assist in the drafting, reviewing and preparation of correspondence and PowerPoint presentations designed for an executive audience.
