Assistant Regional Asset Manager

Due to recent growth a great opportunity within our Asset Management Team based in our branch in Wangara has become available. Reporting into the Regional Asset Manager – Western, this position will play a pivotal role in supporting them in driving the overall planning, management, performance and utilisation of assets. The successful incumbent will guide the acquisition, use and disposal of assets to make the most of their service delivery potential and manage the related risks and costs over their entire life. Being a newly created position, you will be able to truly make this role your own whilst at the same time support the business by providing timely asset information when requested. The successful applicant will take pride in building meaningful relationships with suppliers, and regional branches to ensure specifications are current and relevant to our customer requirements, whist playing an active role in making recommendations as required to optimise Onsite’s business profitability.

Skills and experience required:

• Formal qualifications and or a mechanical background highly advantageous.
• At least 7 years’ experience in a capital intensive industrial services business.
• Demonstrable experience in managing assets
• Commercially astute around whole Life of Asset management.
• Previous experience working in an equipment sales/rental or large industrial business would be preferable.
• Proven at managing supplier delivery times and costs within budgeted guidelines
• Ability to travel both regionally within the State and interstate when required
• Proven communication skills with ability to build successful working relationships both internally with cross functional team and externally with suppliers and customers.
