Marketing Operations Manager

About the role

Join our dynamic team at Youi and take on a key role where you'll be instrumental in shepherding the program of work and resources across Youi’s in-house Marketing department. You'll lead a small but mighty team, guiding them to executing execute best-in-class operations processes and program management approaches for the broader marketing department. From refining processes to ensuring seamless campaign delivery, contract management, risk, and compliance, you'll be the linchpin that keeps our department focused and on track.

Key priorities:

  • Support the Marketing Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in implementing departmental goals and plans, ensuring alignment with broader business strategy.
  • Supervise Marketing work plans, campaign schedules, and budgeting, collaborating with Finance and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Maintain oversight of contracts and procurement processes, optimising efficiency, and monitoring supplier performance.
  • Streamline processes, enhance speed to market, and drive adoption of marketing platforms.
  • Foster continuous improvement and stakeholder collaboration, addressing key issues and managing change.
  • Lead initiatives for marketing risk management, compliance, and governance, supporting Legal as needed.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency.

Ways of Working

This role provides a hybrid setup, based at our Sunshine Coast headquarters, allowing for remote work on Mondays and Fridays if desired.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent TAFE Diploma, or relevant industry expertise.
  • Experience in effectively leading Marketing operations (7+ years is a general indicator).
  • Demonstrated comprehension of Marketing's impact on business success.
  • Proven track record in Project Management.
  • Experience in overseeing risk, compliance, and governance in a regulated sector.
  • Extensive background in developing Marketing processes and managing operations.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Inspiring and motivating leadership style.
  • Capable of uniting team members and stakeholders across functions to achieve shared goals.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Results-driven and focused, adept at managing multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Commercially astute and data-driven, adept at identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
