Assistant Restaurant Managers | Restaurant Managers
Melbourne
We are seeking Assistant Restaurant Managers and Restaurant Managers with experience in casual and premium dining to join some amazing businesses across Melbourne.
Assist Management in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staffing, training, scheduling, and inventory management.
Provide leadership and guidance, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures and deliver high-quality service.
Supervise activities in the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and customer interactions.
Recruitment- hiring, and training new employees, and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing staff members.
Collaborate with the kitchen to maintain food quality and consistency, and ensure timely preparation and service of meals.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies, conducting regular stock counts, and minimising waste.
Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the restaurant, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and efficient manner, escalating issues to the Restaurant Manager when necessary.
Assist with administrative tasks, such as payroll processing, scheduling, and reporting, using computer software applications as needed.
Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving revenue targets, controlling costs, and maximising profitability.
Lead by example
Requirements:
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire employees.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach to service.
Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, sanitation, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in computer software applications, such as point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends
