Job Description
The C&W Alternatives valuations team are responsible for undertaking valuations across (but not limited to) retirement living, healthcare & social infrastructure, data centre's and the self-storage sector. As a result of growth within the alternatives team we are now seeking an Assistant Valuer to join us and support the team.
About the role
- Arrange inspections and attend inspections with senior members of V&A team to assess the condition of the property•Source and collate comprehensive data about the property or property being developed, including characteristics of the property, title search, sales and leasing information, construction costs, applications, plans, recent transactions in the market etc.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders internally and externally to ensure the data is accurate.
- Assist in conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis of the property data, including financial modelling, market and risks analysis, and in line with market, microeconomics and macroeconomics conditions in the geographical area•Assist in assessing value of the property against relevant criteria
- Ensure valuations reports meets compliance requirements and quality assurance processes are followed.
- Attend client meetings with senior Alternatives Valuations & Advisory team members when required•Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders internally and in the market•Build and continuously enhance market and technical knowledge to provide the high quality advice to our clients
- Recent graduate (property related degree) or 12-18 months prior experience within an Assistant Valuer position
- Genuine career aspirations to become a CPV accredited valuations professional
- Strong Exel skills/financial modelling capability is a must
