This role will be responsible overseeing all Duty Managers and Supervisors, and for assisting the Venue Manager with the smooth, efficient and profitable running of our Carlton Brewhouse in Abbotsford, Vic.
Full time: 38 hours, Tuesday to Saturday – 11am-9pm. Tuesday close at 5pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the day to day running of the venue, ensuring that all departments are prepared, ready and staffed appropriately
- Ensuring customer service, venue and staff presentation and product quality and levels are maintained to agreed standards at all times, especially when absent
- Growing the revenue of the operation in line with the venue budget
- Ensuring that proper lock-up and security procedures are strictly adhered to by managers and supervisors at all times
- Demonstrating a hands on day-to-day operational approach and effective time management
- Ensuring that required maintenance is carried out promptly and efficiently by contracted or preferred suppliers
About You
Looking for an individual that can work autonomously and takes initiative to solve problems or conflict. Demonstrates a proactive mindset with a high attention to detail.
- Experience as a Venue/Duty Manager or functions experience
- High levels of initiative, motivation, leadership and effective communication
- Effective time management
- Experience delivering on KPIs
- Ability to report on sales data, stock and labour
- Social Media page management experience
