To succeed in this Associate (Commercial Litigation) role, you must have the thirst and drive for complex disputes work, be diligent and determined to succeed, and have good organisational and interpersonal skills. About the Associate (Commercial Litigation) Role: Reporting to the Partner, the successful Associate will be handling a diverse portfolio of Commercial Litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will provide strategic advice to corporate clients and high-net worth individuals.
- Handle a diverse portfolio of Commercial Litigation matters.
- Drafting of pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and court papers alike.
- Brief counsels, client management, witnesses and attending to court.
Key Requirements:
- Admitted to the Supreme Court of
New South Wales (admission to the High Court of Australia is an added advantage.
- Minimum of three (3) years of PQE with uninterrupted practice experience within the Commercial Litigation practice area.
- Excellent academics.
- Possess sound technical knowledge on court procedures and rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, meticulous, and good eye for detail.
