Your new role
As an Associate Director, your role will be to provide strategic advice and leadership in the delivery of commercial initiatives across the organisation. This role will have a focus on the economic development of the region and will involve strategic thinking, the ability to be investigative and apply insights, and appropriate application of economic and commercial concepts to achieve sustainable long-term outcomes.
- Lead and/or support commercial initiatives and projects in close partnership with key stakeholders and with the support of the Director
- Lead the development of compelling value propositions, business models, commercial arrangements
- Provide clear, concise, insightful and effective advice to various stakeholders
- Research and prepare high quality advice on potential partnership opportunities
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience and understanding of the delivery of commercial, industry or economic development initiatives
- Demonstrated research, analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build relationships
- Project management experience
- Ability to achieve outcomes in an adaptive business and policy environment
