Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Associate Director, Digital Enabling Services to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.
The Associate Director, Digital Enabling Services provides strong leadership and direction to a diverse team of business and technology professionals. The position is accountable for the strategic planning, operation, project delivery and ongoing performance of a robust university-wide set of Digital Enabling value chain aligned products and services. This product category aims to ensure professional functions are as streamlined as they can be, and stakeholder engagement is able to be targeted, effective and promotes a great experience for those interacting with QUT.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a postgraduate qualification in information technology or a related field with significant business experience in operational and strategic IT management.
- Proven business acumen, including experience in the management of budgets, insights to financial drivers and dynamics related to growth and organisational revenue goals.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining a strong understanding of client needs to plan, develop and deliver relevant and innovative technology support strategies.
- Extensive experience and ability to engage and influence key internal and external stakeholders, senior leaders, vendors, contractors and professionals.
- Demonstrated experience in leading an effective service delivery model ensuring that client needs are prioritised and met, outcomes monitored and continuous improvement initiatives implemented.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including negotiation, problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Demonstrated success driving a high performance culture, including a proven record of achievement in the effective management of human resources within a large organisation.
