Competitive Associate Director - EnergyJD Ross have partnered with is a leading global energy consultancy specialising in data-driven intelligence for strategy, portfolio management and investment decisions on the global energy transformation.Our client is rapidly expanding globally and are looking for an Associate Director to oversee and grow a successful team of consultants. The role will be a mixture of leadership, project delivery, developing new business.Role:

• Overseeing a team develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses to enhance clients' decision making
• You will balance the delivery of commissioned projects with leading, coaching and inspiring teams of analysts and energy modelers
• Work closely with our modelling team, structuring economic problems into quantifiable analyses and deriving insights from the model results
• Contribute to our product development, by identifying new opportunities and expanding our capabilities
• Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements
• Communicate findings to clients

Required attributes:

• First-class or high second-class degree from a top university in a quantitative subject (Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Finance)
• Consulting background
• Strong energy background
• PPA or Hydrogen background (highly regarded)
• An ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex quantitative data and information
• Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments
• An ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical parties
