No two days are the same, and you won't be bored in this position.You'll want a position that challenges you. You can use your dynamic skills and adaptability to challenge the status quo, mentor and coach an already talented team of engineers and a supporting drafting team consisting of Civil and Hydraulic designers.Located close to North Sydney's hub, parking and public transport are close by. So are flexible working conditions where the family and health of their employees is genuinely essential, rather than running you into the ground.The business employs for the long-term, and subsequently, you'll have a stable career history working for reputable design consultancies (of any size).What's important is you enjoy hands-on, technically challenging design and bringing the most out of your team, empowering them to run their mini-projects. In addition, you'll be comfortable in a client-facing role, where communication is paramount. Building rapport with contractors and architects will also be critical to successfully delivering residential, commercial, and retail projects on small to medium scale value.Ideally, you'll bring with you:

As a leader in your field, the team will welcome your technical capabilities in pushing their careers and empowering their abilities:

• Ideally, CPEng, or endeavouring to submit within 6-12 months
• Reputable Civil Engineering Degree from a recognised university
• New South Wales Design Consultancy experience and strong familiarity working to AS/RMS/TfNSW codes and standards
• Previous experience leading a team (2 staff minimum)
• Knowledge and experience of one or more of the following; Stormwater, Drainage, Pavements, Roads, Hydraulics
• Project knowledge and experience of one or more of the following; Residential, Commercial, Retail
