Contribute to Audiology programs at Charles Darwin University (CDU)

About the Position
As an Associate Lecturer / Lecturer Clinical Education Coordinator Audiology, you will help build the teaching and research profile of audiology within the Faculty of Health. Contributing to the development of new and innovative programs/units you will utilise both on-campus and flexible-modes of teaching and learning support. You will also provide clinical supervision and support students enrolled in clinical placements including tracking of hours and documentation related to clinical competencies along with other duties to ensure successful Clinical Educational experience and the meeting of external accreditation requirements.  


About You
To be successful, you will require:

  • Possession of a Master of Clinical Audiology or equivalent and hold current clinical registration with either Audiology Australia or the Australian College of Audiology.
  • Extensive clinical experience in Audiology across a variety of diagnostic and rehabilitative settings.
  • Experience in clinical placement supervision and Clinical Education of Audiology students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in the development and delivery of appropriate contemporary educational programs.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, including an understanding of the importance of contributing to staff meetings and discipline committees.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with well-developed time management and organisational skills that support an ability to forge strong collaborative links and contribute to the growth of the profession in the region.
  • Willingness to embrace the knowledge, skills, and ideals of clinical practice in rural and remote areas.
  • Demonstrated interest and desire to obtain post-graduate teaching qualifications (if not already achieved).

Remuneration 
Appointment to this role will be at Teaching Focused Academic Level A/B. The base salary will be in the range of $72,702 to $130,649 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $85,061 to $152,859 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
