Associate Unit Manager

A great opportunity for a Midwife looking to develop their leadership and management skills is now available!

About the Role

Maternity leave coverage position now available on our 36-bed postnatal ward for an experienced Midwife.

This is a permanent night duty role offering 54 hours per fortnight, or 6 shifts a fortnight, on a 12-month fixed contract.

Your Skills and Experience

• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife.
• Minimum 3 years relevant midwifery experience.
• Relevant post-graduate qualifications will be highly regarded
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent understanding of infection control principles.
• Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team.

This is a permanent night duty role. Ability to work these shifts is essential to be considered.

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $53.22 - $ 54.98 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC Associate Nurse Unit Manager gr1-gr3) [FTE $105,164.80 - $108,636.84]

The hospital accommodates 93 beds including surgical and maternity units, Level 4 Special Care Nursery, 6 birthing suites, 4 operating theatres, a day surgery unit and urodynamics procedure room.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
