Role Overview:
Working closely with two esteemed partners and a dynamic team, the selected candidate will engage in a variety of litigation matters, including:
- Commercial agreements and disputes
- Property and leasing disputes
- Corporations Law applications
- Restrictive Trade Practices
- Injunctions
- Administrations, Receiverships, and Liquidations
- National Group Head of Litigation: Specialising in Dispute Resolution and Insolvency, the National Group Head of Litigation assists clients with a wide array of matters, including commercial agreements, property disputes, and corporation law applications. They are also recognised as one of Australia's leading lawyers and hold qualifications as a mediator.
- Litigation Specialist: Specialising in commercial disputes, regulatory investigations, and insolvency, they bring over 20 years of experience to the team. They offer strategic and pragmatic advice to clients, particularly in contractual disputes, M&A disputes, and regulatory investigations. They are also a key member of their government services team, handling disputes for government clients and various Commonwealth government departments and agencies. Their expertise extends to insolvency-related matters, where they advise on formal insolvencies and restructuring efforts.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in litigation practice.
