DeVision Recruitment has partnered with an esteemed independent boarding and day school located in South Brisbane, dedicated to the education of girls from across Australia and around the globe.
We are currently looking for an Audio Visual Coordinator who will be responsible for the day to day operations of the School’s Audio-Visual service requirements in addition to planning, coordinating and managing the development and implementation phases of small-large Audio-Visual projects.
Key Responsibilities
Management of the day-to-day operation and support for the School’s Audio- Visual requirements, including:
- Audio-Visual Support - Providing support for audio-visual equipment and systems, including Service Desk queue management with existing SLAs, installation, configuration, minor maintenance, and arranging external maintenance.
- Audio-Visual Operations - Operates and maintains audio-visual equipment and systems, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Manage and support the onsite assemblies, meetings, productions and live stream
- Required to manage and support the Audio-Visual needs for a number of after-hours events in the School calendar
- Audio-Visual Installation and Configuration – In conjunction with external suppliers, oversees their install and configuration of audio-visual equipment and systems, including testing and commissioning
- Audio-Visual Maintenance - Maintains and repairs audio-visual equipment and systems, including preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, arranging and overseeing external maintenance
- Audio-Visual Design - Designs audio-visual systems and solutions, including requirements analysis and specification
- Audio-Visual Production- Produces audio-visual content, including recording, editing, and post-production
- Managing team member (casual or external contractor) job assignments and workload for Audio-Visual matter.
- Performing tasks and assignments as specified by the Director of Technology Services.
- Previous experience in a similar role within an Education environment would be highly desirable but not essential.
- Current Working with Children Blue Card or ability to obtain one.
The position is a permanent full-time position. The normal hours of duty for this position are 38 hours per week to be worked during the normal office hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm.
Due to the operational requirements of this position, you will be required to work outside of these normal hours to provide Audio-Visual coverage for internal or external School events. This may include working after hours (late evening or early morning) and across weekends. Your start and finish times, and days worked will be amended to reflect these events and will be coordinated with the Director of Technology Services prior to the event requiring the change.
