As our Retail Mail Sorter, you’ll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected. As you’d expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day – and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.
Role details:
- Roster, Monday - Friday, 6:15am - 8:15 am or start at 6:15 am finish before 8:45 am
- Hourly rate $30.91 / hr (Junior rates apply under 21's during training)

You’ll be:
- Come and open the premises at 6:15 AM at Merewether LPO location. ( local resident highly encouraged to apply for this opportunity )
- Receive mails and parcels from a Van driver
- On your feet each shift as you manually breaking down and sort mail / parcels
- Distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes
- Help retail staff as directed by manager.
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: From $30.91 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
