Position: Administration officer/Receptionist
About the business
West-trans Service NSW is a service depot of an Australian family-owned business with a national presence. We are a manufacturer and/or repairer for skip loader, hook lifters, truck mounted cranes and Hammar side lift trailers since 1994.
The role
We are seeking a new member to join our busy Administration team. This is a full-time role Monday to Friday, located at our Prestons office in Sydney.
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the efficient running of the office and provide support to management, supervisors & workshop staff when required.
• General office duties, stationery, amenities ordering
• Receptionist to manage the office traffic and incoming calls
• Assist with purchase orders and receipt entries
• Assist with Accounts Payable
• Assist with Accounts Receivable
• Assist with Payroll Time Keeping
• Assist with Spare parts & freight handling
• Assist with Service Scheduling
• Assist with Parts Storage and Shelving.
Position reports to:
Branch manager
Skills / Experience:
Intermediate Excel skills are ideal along with knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs, such as word and outlook.
MYOB AccountRight experience would be an advantage but not essential.
Excellent customer service and organisational skills.
The ability to meet set deadlines and prioritise activities where required.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience as an administration assistant or a similar administrative role will be highly regarded.
Junior level candidates with 1-3 years admin or bookkeeping experiences are encouraged to apply as this role will suit someone who is keen to learn and study support can be provided to achieve relevant qualifications.
