We are a family-owned, service-oriented business that specialises in the sales and service of medical equipment including Autoclaves, Macerators, Sanitisers and Podiatry Nail Drills.
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Service Technician to support the increasing demand in the healthcare industry. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter, naturally enthusiastic, have a professional client manner and unquestionable technical ability.
Previous experience in servicing Autoclaves is a must. We are willing to train the right applicant if they have strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Job Overview
The role incorporates providing exceptional technical, customer and Field Service support to hospitals, aged care, dental and medical practices and ancillary health. Although this role services the Perth CBD some regional travel will be involved.
Normal working hours are 8am to 5pm however due to the nature of the work there may be some out of hours work required from time to time.
Responsibilities
- Perform service and maintenance tasks on medical equipment including Macerators, Sanitisers, Washers and Autoclaves.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and their satisfaction is achieved.
- Training customers with Operator Instructions for their equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory of equipment, service parts and tools.
Qualifications and Experience
We are seeking candidates with the following:
- Electrical License – A Grade Electrical License preferred however will also consider Restricted Electrical License (WA).
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities are essential.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional client-oriented approach.
- Ability to work well independently and/or in a team.
- Good standard in computer literacy.
- Current driver’s license.
- Annual Flu Vaccine will be a mandatory requirement.
