Training is conducted in person at the MTA’s Training and Employment Centre in Royal Park (Adelaide), Cleve and Bordertown.
About you
Essential:
- An Australian citizen / or Permanent Resident
- Currently living in South Australia
- 16 years of age or older
- In Year 11 or higher
- Willing to commit to a 4-year apprenticeship (completely paid for by MTA)
- Driver's Licence- full-time apprentices must have Ps & school-based apprentices must have Ls
- Passionate about automotive
- Positive attitude
Desirable, but NOT essential:
- Have completed a Certificate I or II in Automotive
- Previously worked with hand/power tools
- Have work experience in the automotive industry
About the Role
Work on Audi, BMW, Genesis, Kia, Hyundai, Scania, John Deere, Case, New Holland machinery and vehicles, and much more…
- You will attend automotive training at one of MTA’s state-of-the-art training centres to gain hands-on, practical skills and knowledge from industry leading trainers
- Work and earn a wage at a supportive Host Employer (the MTA will find you a suitable Host Employer)
