About the role
We're seeking to add the next generation of Automotive Sales leaders to our business and are searching for Sales Executive Trainee/Cadets to join our team.
You might come from a retail background in the department, grocery, fashion, bulky goods businesses or other sales-type roles such as telesales or real estate. Maybe you work in hotels, cafes or restaurants in the hospitality industry. In short, if you love providing a great guest experience, we would like to hear from you!
Duties and Responsibilities

- Maximise opportunities for the business.
- Compliance with the Policies and Procedures.
- No previous experience in the automotive industry is necessary.
- Customer service skills required.
- Preferable exposure to sales, retail, or hospitality businesses.
- Customer Satisfaction exposure is an advantage.
- Available to work Saturdays (non-negotiable).
- Current Drivers Licence (preferably open and manual).
- A desire to build a long-term career, not just take a job.
- A strong and social personality who can tell stories and make interactions and conversations relatable to many different people.
- Passion and willingness to give discretionary effort to succeed in the long term.
- The patience and commitment to build and maintain your database to grow sales yearly.
- Willingness to take direction, learn skills & knowledge to engage with, earn the respect of and become a trusted advisor to the dealership guests.
- Genuine care and a desire to help your Guests.
- Self-respect and confidence.
- An understanding that success is not easy, coupled with the commitment to give what it takes (hours, effort, tenacity, dedication and patience) to succeed and build a lucrative and satisfying career in a high-volume Toyota dealership.
Many of our team members have started their careers with us and now have become leaders in our organisation. Initially, you'll be allowed to learn your craft as a Sales Trainee and, once comfortable, will be supported in transitioning to being a fully-fledged Sales Executive in your own right. Once you become fully qualified, with commissions & bonuses, you could expect your on-target earnings to be approximately $100,000 per year plus other benefits.
