Aws Solution Architect

The AWS Solution Architect will be designing solutions utilising AWS cloud services and implementing hyper-scale cloud solutions into the environment.

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to be responsible transitioning a large government environment to hyper-scale cloud providers to improve business agility.
Key Responsibilities:

• Architect cloud solutions and meticulously document solution designs to facilitate communication with stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate solution designs to team members including business analysts and developers to ensure smooth solution delivery.
• Verify and validate solution implementation in alignment with solution designs.
• Contribute to the adoption of DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud-native tools.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, architectural principles, and compatibility with ICT target state and associated roadmaps.
• Actively participate in project planning activities.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience working as a Solution Architect, delivering high-quality outcomes in complex business and technical environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing solutions utilising cloud services across the AWS stack, encompassing EC2, VPCs, Aurora, SNS, Kubernetes, API Gateway, and Lambda Function.
• Ability to facilitate architecture decisions by collaborating with business stakeholders, architecture peers, and technical staff.
• Proficiency in producing comprehensive solution designs covering application, information, integration, technology, and security perspectives.
• Understanding of core technologies including AWS cloud native technologies, Java Enterprise Edition, PostgreSQL, SAP, M365, SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and supporting infrastructure such as OpenShift, RHEL, NAS, and network services.
• AWS Cloud certification or equivalent accreditation.

You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for this position, and have the ability to obtain a government security clearance.
Contract Rate: $1,100-$1,200 per Day (incl. super)
