As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you’ll define, develop, and meticulously document automation technologies. Your expertise will enhance our system’s build, test, and deployment capabilities.

1. Work closely with application development teams to maintain and evolve DevOps continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines. Your contributions will ensure seamless code integration and swift delivery.
2. Participate actively in cloud migration efforts. You’ll guide the way, supporting and advancing our Azure pipelines for the solution platform.
3. Identify and implement further automation opportunities within our product development process. Streamline service delivery by automating repetitive tasks.
4. Maintain visibility of version control between production systems and planned deployments. Your attention to detail ensures consistency and reliability.
5. Keep a watchful eye on changes across multiple environments. When issues arise, communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.
6. Your ability to explain complex concepts shines when interacting with IT management and senior business stakeholders. Clear communication is your superpower.

What you'll need to succeed

1. Extensive experience in developing automated build and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps, YAML, ARM Templates, and PowerShell.
2. Proficient in defining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. Whether it’s Terraform or Bedrock, you know how to incorporate them into automated pipelines.
3. Skilled at developing applications using one or more of the following: Java, Microsoft .NET, or Oracle-deployed applications (such as WebLogic, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle Database, and Access Manager).
4. Your extensive knowledge and experience in configuring, monitoring, and optimising services for the Microsoft Azure platform sets you apart.
