Where and how you can work
Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to hubs in Austin and San Francisco, which are now home to our US operations. So whether you're in Texas or California, you have choice in where and how you work in each of those states. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.
What you'd be doing in this role
We're looking for a B2B Campaign Content Specialist to join our team, focused on producing effective webinar content for our B2B mid market and enterprise audiences (employees and decision makers in large organisations). They will be responsible for creating webinar content and distributing it out across the most effective channels. Our webinars serve as thought leadership and product education to demonstrate the simplicity and benefits of Canva, so that we can empower everyone to design.
This role will work closely with multiple teams and stakeholders to build out content that supports the marketing funnel at every stage. It also supports sales enablement and customer success teams with content to nurture and educate customers through new features and products. The Campaign Content Specialist is responsible for the end to end execution of the They will be responsible for the end-to-end process of content creation which can include various formats such as webinar script writing, screenflow script writing and video storyboarding, as well as content that gets repurposed into different further content types, such as strategic event materials and training materials resources. They would also contribute to Campaign Content ideation and execution, including crafting scripts, speaking talking points and questions, as well as supporting event promotional materials such as landing pages, email invites, social copy and promotional copy for internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have experience running webinars, with the ability to craft creative and engaging long-form content in the form of blogs, webinars, whitepapers to turn into live and prerecorded webinars. The candidate will have experience with webinar engagement and campaign strategies to maximise lead generation and product usage. A strong understanding of B2B audiences, skills in effective facilitation and training, as well as having great organisational and time management skills with a can-do attitude.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
  • Collaborate with a squad including a Product Marketing Manager and Growth Strategist to determine marketing initiatives that will drive growth in large enterprise organisations and understand the needs of our B2B customers
  • Create and deliver engaging webinars that promote Canva and collaborate with Strategic Partnerships to support co-marketing opportunities.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Canva product and its use cases for B2B audiences to create compelling content that aligns with Canva's brand and messaging.
  • Utilize your strong product knowledge to provide guidance and support to partners in developing webinar content.
  • Craft well-written long-form content that can be repurposed and repackaged into content formats that make an impact at multiple touch points and funnel stages to support enterprise growth and ARR
  • Create content that educates on how to use the core Canva product and relevant business skills to engage every customer, innovating new ways to help users learn
  • Write scripts and screen flows, and create storyboards for content, and work with the partnership team and production teams to bring this content to life
  • Work with internal and external SMEs to create workshops, masterclasses, thought leadership content and more that educates our audiences on latest trends, insights, product innovations, feature releases, etc.
  • Monitor and analyze performance of campaigns to identify areas for improvement, optimize, create new materials, and repurpose and repackage into different formats for future campaigns.
You're probably a match if
  • Experience educating others through webinar creation and delivery of B2B learning content
  • Experience crafting long-form webinar scripts and product tutorials, with engagement strategies to hold the attention of an audience throughout 30-60 minutes sessions
  • Strong understanding of the user needs of B2B audiences, particularly large enterprises
  • Bonus if you've previously worked in a SaaS company and created targeted product content and thought leadership content
  • Content creation skills for various formats: able to write and create content with strong copy skills across educational webinars and videos, onboarding series and guides, conversion landing pages, and other materials as required
  • An ability to make complex things simple: you're able to systematically think through processes to create quality branded content
  • Make effective decisions: able to prioritise projects based on impact, drive projects forward and ensure we're meeting team and business goals
  • Pursue excellence: you are process-driven, able to manage multiple projects, keep others on track and assess and measure the effectiveness of work
  • Confident and clear communication skills: for constant collaboration, engaging presentation delivery and dealing with multiple stakeholders on a day-to-day basis. You will be able to confidently present ideas to your audience and influence them to try new things.
About the Team
Our mission in the Design Education team is to engage and delight our community with impactful content that empowers them to create. Across all of our audiences, including free and Pro users, B2B customers, educational institutions (K12 and Higher Ed) and non profits, we seek to show how Canva can add value to large organisations and shaping key industry trends. We do this by showcasing thought leadership and educational product content that conveys the ease and value of Canva, and how it can help them achieve their individual and organisational level goals.
The Design Education team creates educational content on Canva's products and features that empowers our users to design and create in Canva. This content lives on our content platform Design School, as well as through various marketing touchpoints including lifecycle emails, landing pages and sales enablement materials.
Our team has a wide range of all-round skills. They're designers, teachers, writers, facilitators, creators and doers. They facilitate in-person and in-product learning and continuously grow their skills and our courses along with our product and content library.
The Design Education team sits in our Marketing supergroup and our team's roadmap ladders up to Marketing goals to drive MAU growth, user retention and ARR.
