SalaryWe are seeking a highly motivated full time baker or pastry chef. Someone who is passionate about their craft and who will take ownership and be dedicated to the ongoing growth and development of the business.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to handle the daily operations of a high volume bakery.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following, or a willingness to learn
- Strong knowledge of deck ovens & baking
- experience with hand molding, cutting breads
- experience in making cakes and decorating
- Mixing experience and understanding the process of pastry and yeast doughs
- Sound knowledge in weighing ingredients for different type of bread and pastry
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong work ethic
- Sense of humour!
- Or no experience, but a willingness to learn, and learn FAST!
