Bakers cottage cafe is a award winning pie shop with several branches in the lower hunter area. Our production is primarily for our retail outlets. We provide baked good such as pies, sausage rolls and bread.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented individual, who thrives in a family atmosphere, while sharing our passion for providing exceptional service to our Customers.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Production includes, but is not limited to, Pies, Sausage Rolls and Quiches
Ensuring daily production is carried out efficiently
Ensuring all health, safety and food safety procedures are followed
Starting times may vary and will be discussed with applicant.
The work is regular and subject to minimal changed in product produce. There is large opportunities for job growth and leadership position.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Attributes
You Must be knowledgeable and experienced in pie and pastry making.In order to maintain our product standards we are looking for Experienced Bakers. Trade qualifications are desirable, although not essential. Experience is essential. Looking between 2-3 years.
There is an opportunity for part time and/or full time and incorporates all aspects of baking, so all applications will be considered. Please advise of your preference for full or part time work in your cover letter

- Experience working in a Bakery with a production team
- Experience with pastry pie
- Experience with dough making
- Experience with pastry making
- Confidence using ovens
- A passion for food
- Ability to work under minimal supervision when required
- Ability to work with a team
- Willingness to do some overtime if required
- Punctual and a team player
- Willingness to assist in a variety of roles within the business,
