Pastry Cook

We are looking for an Assistant Pastry Cook to join our enthusiastic team. Good opportunity to persons who are passionate about working in a food industry.

The roles
We are looking for a pastry chef who can run the pastry side and support the bakers if needed on the other side. This role is 80% based on pastry. You will ensure all the pastry is ready for service and the job will include all the normal pastry duties.

Experience
We are looking for cook with a pastry background for this role, at least 2 years within the industry is an advantage. 

Candidates should be able to work with team members and on their own with integrity and reliability.

Skills and qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of baking and pastry-making techniques
• Artistic skill in decorating desserts
• In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles and food preparation standards
• Strong leadership skills and an ability to provide clear instructions to other members of the pastry staff
• Familiarity with a range of baking and other kitchen equipment
• Excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for teamwork

Salary: AUD: 48,000- 60,000 Per Year plus 11% Superannuation.
