Tuga Pastries is a second generation baker that has been in Sydney for over 35 years making the best pastries, but most famously known for its amazing Portuguese Tarts. The business is expected to continue to grow as we expand our restaurant, retail and wholesale services. Qualifications & experience
- Proven Bakery Production chef
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
Tasks & responsibilities
- Support our Executive Head of Production to run the Tuga wholesale pastry production section
- Lead a small team of Pastry Chefs
- Proven experience in preparing, proofing, baking and finishing pastry products such as individual cakes, croissants, tarts and breads
- Sound knowledge of mixing dough & laminating
- Must be capable working with large volumes of pastry production
- Have great attention to detail and an ability to work efficiently
- Have excellent time management and communication skills
- Must be available to work weekends
