Form of workThe Hive Bar is a small local's bar in Erskineville, just a short stroll down from Newtown. Opened in 2009, we're all about vinyl music, burgers, cocktails, independent beers and natural wines.
We're looking for an experienced hospitality professional who can run the venue and manage our small and diverse team.
The right applicant with have:
- A current RSA certificate
- Top notch customer service skills with the ability to form great relationships with our locals and Djs
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a managerial role
- Confidence in RSA compliance
- Experience with functions and events
- Strong leadership skills. Someone who can lead from example and who can spearhead trainings and staff development
- Strong cocktail, wine and spirits knowledge with the ability to come up with inventive and seasonal menus
- A creativity and a passion for hospitality
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Front and back of house operational experience with exceptional cash handling skills
Additional skills that we'd appreciate:
- Adobe Suite skills
- A current driver's license
