The Catering Assistant has a key role in the MDAS in-house catering program, and community Café servicing all MDAS Mildura sites. As MDAS has a variety of meetings, training courses, events and programs that require catering on a daily basis, the role of Catering Assistant was created to support this function. and within the requirements of any relevant Health Promotion programs and partnerships entered into.
Key Selection Criteria:
Minimum 3 years’ Experience with food preparation
Minimum 3 years’ Experience in making barista coffee & Customer Service
Experience working in a dynamic and diverse workplace
Take action to provide services that are inclusive of Aboriginal people and engage in learning about other cultures to better establish relationships and improve services.
Food Handlers Certificate
Other Screening Requirements:
A current Driver’s License that allows you to drive in Australia.
A current Employee Working with Children Check card.
A current National Police Check.
COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate & Booster information or a valid medical exemption.
