Coffee Alchemy is Sydney’s prime specialty coffee destination in Sydney. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated professional who will:
- Help recruit and onboard new hires
- Train staff and monitor their development
- Do staff rosters and ensure the right mix of talents on shifts
- Help ensure a sustainable labour ratio
- Manage our Marrickville café
- Do shifts on bar when required – at both Gumption Coffee and Coffee Alchemy
- Update all staff on new coffee and products
- Help advance the learning environment of the organization
Essential skills of the Barista Trainer/Café Manager:
- Communication skills
- Able to motivate others
- Deep understanding of espresso extraction
- Excellent skills in milk texturing and latte art
- Solid understanding and application of adult learning principles
- Learner-oriented
- Highly organised
- Team player
- Self-motivated
- Administrative skills – Word, Excel, Deputy
This is a full-time position that requires some weekend work.
Remuneration depends on skills and experienced presented.
