The Business: My client is a leading manufacturer in the condiments category and are seeking a Business Development Manager - Foodservice to join their Melbourne team. Focusing on developing strong business relationships across the Foodservice channels, with a focus on HORECA, particularly pub, club, cafe and hotel groups as well as working with the largest foodservice distributors in the country and some of the smaller state based distributors. Working autonomously across S/E Melbourne, this is a great opportunity for someone with a hunter mentality, who enjoys a challenge and wants to be part of something big. The Role: Drive & build customer relationships across the Melbourne through face to face meetings. Build trust with customer base through demonstrating product knowledge and broader product and service value including tastings and menu pairing guidance Develop a partnership approach to your customers and build your sales success through win/win solutions by understanding your customers’ requirements. Driving growth in your distribution partnerships by attacking the HORECA channel and onboarding end user customers that would order the business's products through distributors Build competitor & industry knowledge to identify opportunities and build/grow commercial sales in the territory.
