Bdm Specialist - Weighing Solutions - Vic

OUR CLIENT 
Our client are a nimble and people focused Australian icon of the weighing & packaging industry.  They have more than 40 years of new solution, maintenance, retrofit and breakdown service experience behind them.  Their client focused approach sees them providing customers with 24/7/365 support, enabling their customers to meet their respective weighing, packaging and legislative requirements easily and effortlessly. 
  
YOUR ROLE
This role will be based out of their thriving Melbourne Tullamarine hub.  Using your keen business acumen and business development experience, you will cultivate new and nurture existing relationships, to be in the know of new and retro-fit projects in Victoria to quote, sell and deliver solutions on.  The role will predominantly be focussed on weighbridges that are designed and manufactured in-house, but will also include a range of other Weighing Solutions big and small. 
The role is diverse, requiring you to work alone and as part of the wider team to scope jobs, conceive solutions and ensure the client is happy with the installed timely results.  You will work closely with the branch manager and the broader technical team.  The culture is refreshing with a genuine team orientation, where people want to make a difference and where you will be heard. You will travel to various client sites around Victoria in a fully maintained company vehicle.
Given the breath & depth of the company, there is plenty of scope for growth within the business for the long-term.  

• Have proven sales experience in a technical environment
• Be comfortable with managing both existing and new client account pipelines through the thorough use of a cloud based CRM
• Have a unique ability to drive and manage project pipelines, maximising revenue potential
• Provide trusted consultation to client for best in class solutions and applications

ABOUT YOU
You will predominantly be working in a hybrid environment that mixes working from the Tullamarine hub, your home or from customer sites (where the business is).  You MUST therefore be a confident, self-starter, who has a go-getter attitude with the following skills and attributes:

• Strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability
• Sound technical and business acumen
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good Project Management skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Electro-mechanical degree experience would be a plus
