Bdm/Relationship Manager

• 1-3 years experience in an external sales role would be ideal 

With a reputation for quality and service, this reputable company now has a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and results driven BDM to join their continuously growing Company. This role will involve nurturing existing business but also drive new sales opportunities through new channels. 

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Maintaining relationships with existing clients 
• Manage a regular call cycle with clients
• Identifying new business opportunities and actively following up potential customers
• Servicing and developing existing customer base
• Responding to all phone/fax/email sales enquiries in a timely manner
• Preparing sales reports
• Successfully meeting and exceeding KPI's
• Proactive outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to generate sales activity
• Ensuring customer base are regularly updated with product information and new promotions
• Identify new sales opportunities and update clients on product and stock availability
• Stay up to date and informed with competitor activity and future works
• Assist the marketing team in developing promotional strategies to increase sales activity

To be successful in this role, a proven track record in a dedicated Sales role is essential. You also need to demonstrate tenacity and the ability to succeed within a competitive industry. 

Other attributes to excel in this role include:

• Demonstrated experience (Minimum three years) in a Sales focused role
• Experience in electrical products
• Strong client liaison and relationship building skills
• Results orientated
• Ability to multitask and think on your feet
• Positive attitude and the ability to keep cool under pressure
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• IT literate
• Good administration skills
• Excellent team player who is positive, proactive and results driven
• Experience with Salesforce preferred but not essential
