We are looking for an Internal Sales Assistant for our Bearings Shop.
Who are you?
- Must be an Australian Resident
- Mechanical aptitude with a genuine interest in the industry.
- Have the ability to learn and a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of imperial and metric advantageous.
- Attention to detail and basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Good verbal and written skills
- Ability to to participate in ongoing training and be open to learning on the job in a fast paced environment
- Industrial product knowledge is advantageous
- Previous experience in a workshop environment will be well regarded but not required.
- Experience in Stock ordering and processing of suppliers
- Experience in managing cash and payment systems
- Engineering and manufacturing knowledge an asset but not essential

Key day to day responsibilities of the role
- *Provide customer service at shop floor level for both Bearings and Engineering customers
- Maintain personal presentation
- Liaise with and utilise support from suppliers, sales reps and other partners as required
- Provide customer service- counter sales and via phone.
- Occasional delivery of products in company vehicle.
- Ordering and receiving in of freight
- Manage upkeep and and condition of showroom ie, presentation, dusting, vacuuming
- Manage selling and customer service activities to optimise and sustain sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain stock levels and stock taking as required
- Develop personal skills and capability through on going in house training as provided my the company and its team members
Must be a team player. Must be an Australian resident, Seeking long term employment. Will have a 3 month probationary period.
