SCOPE: Work as part of a team delivering Behaviour Support to participants to improve the quality of their lives. This is done through reducing and or eliminating restrictive practices and ensuring participants are living with dignity and respect.

Location will be work from home however, clients located around Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Gympie.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meeting participants, family and other key stakeholders involved in a participant’s life.
- Conduct assessments to determine behaviour functions.
- Develop interventions to assist with reducing behaviours of concern.
- Planning and delivering a service in a timely way.
- Gather data to understand if implementation of a plan is working.
- Use graphs to detail your data collection.
- Work on ways to reduce and eliminate restrictive practice.
- Work from a risk management perspective
- Adhere to compliance obligations.
- Engage in professional development to maintain your registration.
- Must comply with Behaviour Collaboration’s policies and procedures as well as their Work/Occupational Health and Safety obligations.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:
- Psychology degree or
- Masters of social work degree
- Understanding of applied behaviour analysis.
- Blue Card
- Yellow Card
- Police check
- Drivers license essential.
- Worker rights. MUST live in AUSTRALIA
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Able to respond calmly in emergency situations
- Maintain patience and discretion when providing health care. Adhering to confidentiality requirements.
- Can work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Reliable.
- Ability to seek out support when needed.
- Motivated and excited to work with interesting consumers.

Experience:
- Experience with positive Behaviour Support preferred but not essential. A general understanding of ABC and how this works, please provide an example.
- Experience with understanding the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) preferred but not essential.
- Experience with case management and ability to manage a case load. Please provide an example.
- Ability to work as part of a team, please provide an example.
