In this job you will

Be responsible for the transport logistics and distribution of our customer’s products. The successful applicant will manage and oversee the safe, and timely delivery of customer product aligned with quality assurance systems and requirements. Within this role you will:

• Focused and committed to leading and driving a safety and compliant culture.
• Lead a culture of continuous improvement, driving efficiencies of operation and performance.
• Monitor systems to support driver safety, compliance and quality assurance agligned with customer product.
• Coordinate a seemless operation between warehouse and drivers.
• Maintain fleet management log books.
• Facilitate biannual trailer validations to ensure units function effectively at all times.
• Review new delivery addresses to monitor risks, health and safety considerations. 
• Build and maintain effective customer relationships.
• Develop, coach and support all members of your team.

You have the following qualities and qualifications

• Strong focus and commitment to safety and compliance.
• Proven skills and experience managing, and motivating a team.
• Prior experience with temperature control and Quality Assurance within a Cold chain environment is essential.
• Experience within a Transport environment is preferred.
• LF forklift license with Counter Balance experience is essential.
• Heavy rigid drivers license is preferred but not essential.
• Demonstrated ability to lead with autonomy in a small operation. 
• Proven planning, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Medium to High level skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
