The role:
As Bid Coordinator you will be responsible for assisting with the production and submission of high quality bid responses, tenders and EOI’s for a range of high-level construction projects up to $20m and above.
You will ensure that the tender process is structured and timely, the content is clear and concise and the proposals create an appealing visual impact with clients. You will be required to work closely with relevant internal stakeholders to obtain necessary information and ensure submissions meet client needs.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the compilation of tender submissions, company project bids and proposals, EOI’s
Provide on-going assistance with tender requirements (e.g., updating company CV’s and profiles, updating relevant project experience, photographs and marketing materials etc.)
Liaise with internal and external personnel to source information and documents for submissions
Attend and minute weekly Estimating Team Meetings and Tender Review/Planning Meetings
Attend and photograph prospective tender site inspections
Compile information and graphics for submissions, from the preparation of initial drafts to the final content
Design and format tender documentation
Assist the Bid Manager to establish proposals comply with project specific tender requirement
Responsible for printing, copying, binding and delivering hard copy
Ad hoc administrative tasks relating to tender content
Document control and maintenance of relevant folders
Requirements:
Experience working on bids/tenders from within a construction or engineering environment is essential
Background in marketing and graphic design
Previous experience in creating content using the Adobe suite (Indesign) and MS Office
Able to work on multiple tenders at any one time
Ability to work to tight deadlines in high pressure environment
Excellent written skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to proactively coordinate bid submissions and collaborate with various departments to extract submission material
Strong formatting skills
Well organised with a high attention to detail
Able to work accurately, methodically and succinctly
