ABOUT THE ROLE
Wilson Security is currently seeking a full time Technical Bid Coordinator. Working within the National Bid Team and reporting to the National Bids and Communications Manager, the primary focus of this role is to develop technical and operational content to support bid and proposal submissions for electronic security opportunities. Working closely with our operational and business development teams in the technology division, the role provides support in the development of solutions incorporating an electronic security design; project methodology plans and schedules as well as technical specifications and estimation.
Responsibilities of the Technical Bid Coordinator:
- Tender production and support this includes, effectively managing the bid / tender process, from inception to post-completion activities working collaboratively to develop submission strategies and win themes.
- Coordinate, develop, review, and edit tender responses / proposals which contain technical content, project plans and designs.
- Develop end-to-end bid project plans to ensure appropriate input into each response, including meetings, briefings, site visits, registrations, reviews and other key milestones.
- Coordinate input from Bid Sponsors, operational managers, or SMEs – maintaining a necessary level of internal stakeholder engagement to meet the objectives and expectations of the wider business.
- Content library development and continuous update including developing and maintaining a set of standard templates for less complex bids.
- Manage and coordinate bid support functions including content library, bid archiving, bid stationery and template, and network drive as well as update relevant collateral such as project sheets, capability statements and image resources.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will have an interest in technology, innovation and be passionate about developing high-quality bid response documents, and ideally have a competitive streak and a desire to create compelling documents that win new or retain existing clients. In addition, you will have:
- 2 - 3 years experience in similar role, with strong technical writing and copyediting skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Highly self-motivated with strong stakeholder engagement skills at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and grammar/citation guidelines.
- Experience in the electronic security industry with a broad understanding of a variety of electronic security products and technology is desirable.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) with a passion for delivering persuasive and engaging responses that align to clients' requirements whilst clearly and concisely articulating winning themes and value propositions.
- Advanced analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to perform in a team-based, fast-paced environment.
- Strong ability to priorities through planning, organisation, and time management skills
