The Bid Manager is the overall owner of the bid and responsible for its quality, focus and delivery. Meeting the customer’s stated requirements, facilitating interactions between the business and the customer and managing the development of the business' bid response are primary functions of this role.
- Create a bid plan and form the framework of the bid.
- Work with the Lead Account Manager to identify key Bid Team members and liaise with the sponsor(s) (Bid Executive or District/Country Managers) who will negotiate the engagement of the Bid Team members for the duration of the bid.
- Maintain the integrity and effort of the bid team throughout the bid process.
- Address any resource constraints and issues encountered during the bid process.
The Bid Manager will undertake the following:
- Formulate the bid strategy.
- Prepare and maintain the bid plan.
- Manage Bid Team resources.
- Provide access to bid tools, draft content and standard content examples.
- Compile and distribute draft and final bid proposal documents.
- Review and quality assure all completed bid proposal documentation.
- 12-Month Contract (view to permanent afterwards).
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
- Canberra based.
